Apple Cinnamon Steel-Cut Oats
Boost the nutritional goodness by adding finely ground linseed. Sweeten it up with maple syrup.
Ingredients:
Steel-cut oats
One or two apples, diced
Finely ground linseed (flax)
Ground cinnamon
Small drizzle of maple syrup
Tofu hummus veggie wrap
Ingredients:
Wrap bread
Thin lightly fried tofu
Pickled red/purple cabbage
Roasted pumpkin
Fresh strips of carrot
Lettuce of choice
Cracked pepper
Homemade hummus:
Chickpeas - from one can or cooked equivalent from dry chickpeas
One fresh lemon, juiced
Tahini - tablespoon or two
Clove of garlic
Pinch of salt
Oat Bake
Ingredients:
Rolled oats - half blended, half whole (try these organic rolled oats)
Plant based milk - I used So Good soy milk
2 mashed ripe bananas
Powdered cacao
Sultanas
Ground linseed
Chia seeds (optional)
Pecans, finely chopped
Maple syrup
Frozen raspberries
