The laziest breakfast you need to eat

Breakfast should not always be complicated, especially when life is busy. You can enjoy a nourishing breakfast without sacrificing time and health. Here’s a high-protein meal you can heat in just a few minutes.

The only catch is that it’s not from scratch. That’s ok. This is about guilt-free goodness.

Baked Beans

Get a can of BPA-free organic baked beans. I like to grind plenty of pepper onto my beans for a more exciting flavour.

Kale or Spinach

Chop leafy greens and heat them in the beans mix. You could even use frozen or whole fresh spinach to be more quick.

Whole Grain Bread

Choose your bread wisely. It should be wholemeal, whole wheat, or whole grain. I usually prefer local organic soft slices or crusty sourdough, depending on what I can get.

Avocado or Cashew Cheese

This is the one component that isn’t pictured. Get something creamy with the protein. Avocados can be cheap and delicious. Going a step further, you could use cashew cheese to nurture your gut and spread more goodness.

Optional Extras

You could sprinkle hemp on top for omegas and texture.

How easy was that?

This breakfast ticks the boxes. You could get more food groups by having fruit on the side. This meal takes barely any time, and will give you energy for the day.
