Where to find natural sustainable yoga supplies

I have been gradually learning about the world of yoga since sometime in the pandemic. It is about the inner journey and philosophical transformation. I appreciate sustainable clothes, mats and accessories that also feel good. They should be supportive and durable. Here is a list including my wishlist and some things I continue using now.

Please note this article includes links that are not affiliated or paid. Some of these brands are on my wishlist. All of the products look pretty good. The RDL site includes paid links and advertisements in various locations. But this article focuses on my personal preferences.

Boody

I adore Boody gear because I can wear it almost anywhere. I can wear their racerback sports bra at a yin or for a walk at the beach with a coffee. The motivate longline bra is better for an active flow. I can tuck it into a bag afterwards and switch to anything else from Boody.

Here’s the really cool secret. I wear their camis and long sleeved tops almost anywhere - yoga class, under a dress or short, paired just with a skirt on the weekend… I almost live in these tops.

Indigo Luna

The small Aussie business provides slow fashion that looks comfortable to wear on and off the mat. Their flares are funky and the colours are naturally relaxed.

Dharma Bums

This brand uses materials such as recycled PET bottles. Some styles feature wild prints.

Colourful organic cotton yoga straps

I found some organic straps at Stretch Now. There are natural colours from the Second Earth brand. You can stay neutral with the one from Body Mind Connect at Byron Bay Yoga Mats.

Hemp yoga straps

There’s a hemp strap at Mobeco.

Yoga mat from natural tree rubber and jute

This earth.me mat, from the Tribe brand, looks extra sturdy because it is 4mm thick.

Cork yoga mat

I have this mandala mat from the Yoga Design Lab. It feels extra thin, lightweight and easy to roll. It is wonderful for travel. And the centred print is a useful point of focus.

Cork yoga blocks

Natural solid blocks can feel steady and supportive. The Sorrento 2-pack is a good deal.
