Where to donate food and other basics
Are people continuing to struggle with the cost of living? I believe we can all help by donating something small or more.
My life isn’t exactly easy but I like the thought of donating a can of food and other essentials. Although we can also donate money at almost any amount, there is a benefit to donating physical goods. We tend to keep some supplies that don’t actually get used. A tin or packet of something will sit in the pantry ‘just in case.’ Something gets close to the best before date. We may accidentally buy the wrong product that we didn’t want. Or we forget there’s enough of a product at home already, then unintentionally stock up more than is needed. Other people could benefit from the surplus supplies that are stored at home. If it’s unopened and in decent quality, consider donating it.
